Thriving Environment

We are populating these new pages with a new way of presenting policy. It will take a few weeks to get them all migrated and reformatted. Please bare with us. You can still go to our old policy page https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/policy/

Our vision is to create a country where we are admired by the world. Not just because of our wonderful natural environment, but because of the way we live. A way of life that protects and enhances that environment.

Poisons. We will stop the use of 1080 and other poisons immediately. https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/poisons-policy/

Outdoors Recreation and Wildlife. We are concerned that recent governments have not valued our Outdoors Culture or the importance of New Zealanders being and feeling connected with nature and having ready access to our Outdoors. https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/nz-outdoors-party-policy-on-outdoors-recreation-and-wildlife/

Fishery Policy. Recreational & Commercial. Lets put the fish back into fishing so all New Zealanders can enjoy our Great Outdoors heritage of catching and eating fish. https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/nz-outdoors-party-fishery-policy/

5G Policy. The NZ Outdoors Party seeks a moratorium on the allocation, auction and rollout of 5G spectrum licences until there has been a full public inquiry into the costs and benefits of 5G, effects on human health and the natural environment and how these can best be avoided or managed. https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/nz-outdoors-party-policy-on-5g/

Freshwater Policy. We will put FRESH back into FRESH WATER. We will ensure that all New Zealanders’ have clean drinkable water and maintain water quality in all rivers, to a swimmable drinkable level. We will stop all exports of water. https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/nz-outdoors-party-fresh-water-policy/

Agriculture. The New Zealand Outdoors Party supports a return to farming with nature, using principles similar to permaculture, “agro-ecology” and “regenerative agriculture”. https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/agriculture-policy-nz-outdoors-party/

Forestry. The NZ outdoors Party is concerned with the environmental effects of mono forests, the lack of processing in NZ, foreign ownership and the use of valuable farmland for forests. https://www.outdoorsparty.co.nz/forestry-policy/
