Government misinformation

3 events were among those that led me to stop believing politicians and legacy media:
1) Neither source told me the 2008 crash was coming so I searched for and found those people who forecasted it - I now have more reliable sources about economics and, more recently, the Sars-Covid virus thanks to ZeroHedge.com.
2) I found a quote from Henry Ford (i have paraphrased/shortened it): "If the people knew how the banking system worked I believe there would be a revolution tomorrow".
3) I read David Stockman 's NYT bestseller "The Great Deformation - The Corruption of Capitalism" and much of the writings of people from the Austrian School of Economics both of which have profoundly changed my view of the world.

10 years ago I voted labour or national. Now I believe governments work against people's best interests and I do not vote unless there is a candidate committed to voluntary association instead of government coercion.
