Cease and Desist Notice
Dear William.
Your comments published in a live facebook presentation on the 12th September 2020 referring to Sue Grey and the NZ Outdoors Party were incorrect and defamatory and we demand you retract and apologise publicly.
Your comment that “Sue Grey from the NZ Outdoors party had been out there ringing supporters who help us around asking if they had any dirt on us and could they supply her with that dirt.” is an outright untruth and defamatory. This has not and did not happen.
Your comment that the NZ outdoors Party ” had been trying to find anything to do with finances that they have been claiming we have been dishonest about and trying to discredit us. ” You went on to say “These people doing this are without basis ….the Outdoors Party are so bitter”. This also did not happen, is a lie and defamatory.
You also state that “last week Tracy Livingston Outdoors Party on our (NZ Outdoors Party) facebook page a post saying that I was grooming young girls for sex overseas“. To clarify this Tracy reposted on her own website a screenshot of a post that was published by Chrissy Small widely circulating and a few minutes later on reflection took it down. Your own followers copied and shared it widely not Tracy.
On Sept 10th you stated in a live broadcast with a headline “Thursday brief: The fight grows, Media attacks, Accusations from ODP, New C19 info in world Media,” “The Outdoors Party is one issue party ….but they have been just incredible in their attacks on this movement…… you infer that we do not have any concern for the people“
You again attack Tracy Livingston and Outdoors Party for re posting the well published facebook post regarding your “grooming of young girls in Rarotonga“. You continue to infer this is the work of the NZ Outdoors Party and you again make a series of false allegations about the NZ Outdoors Party.
There are numerous unfair and derogatory referrals in your live facebook posts to the NZ Outdoors Party, Alan Simmons, Sue Grey and others over past months that have been bought to our attention. Please take notice that we have been extremely tolerant to date in the hope that you would quickly find your feet. Sadly your conduct and fake allegations have if anything become more unfair and defamatory over time.
Our lawyers have been advised on our intent to issue this one warning before filing defamation proceedings against those concerned. Meanwhile we invite you to reflect on the distasteful and destablising nature of your conduct, retract those statements publicly and apologise to Sue Grey, myself and to the Outdoors Party.
